2019 is turning out to be pretty special for us. We’ve got so many festivals to blog about, we don’t know where to begin. This year is also our first time attending the magnificent audio and visual feast that is Boomtown Fair. We’re not sure why exactly it’s taken us so long to get involved in this absolute monster of an event. After all Boomtowns outrageously themed sectors and stages are the stuff, that most festival heads’ dreams are made of. What ever the reason, here we are and Chapter 11 will be our first experience of this immersive city. Camp Bestival Vibes: What goes down in 12 Hours at CB

On Friday the 27th July we headed down to Dorset for Camp Bestival. Bestival has been on our long list of “MUST DO” festivals. We figured that Camp Bestival would be a good starting point, being the UK’s most well known family festival. Although its been in our diary for a while we only booked tickets 2 weeks before. We decided that we would head down on the Friday and stay in a nearby hotel rather than camp. The Springfield Country Hotel was booked for 2 nights, which seemed to be a hit with other Camp Bestival goers. We even mingled with some roadies and bands over the corn flakes at breakfast. read more
